What is it about competing that has us constantly entering contest? I wish I knew, because it has been a long time since I won anything and yet I continue to enter contest after contest in hopes that maybe some day the powers that be will throw things in my favor. That would be the point of today's blog.
The main contest I enter are for boots and (sometimes) clothes, but mainly boots. We know that I love boots and I'm truly addicted, but my bank account refuses to support my habit. That is why I jump at the chance. The Farmer's Trophy Wife is feeding my addiction to enter contest by giving away a pair of Justin Boots. OF COURSE I have to enter. The odds of my winning, very slim; however, I"m going to try.
There is a joke that I do not remember, but it is basically about someone that keeps praying to win the lottery and it ends with GOD stating to the person, "BUY A TICKET". The short of it is that you cannot win if you do not try. So, I'm going to try and maybe some day I will be the lucky one.
